After WWII, many returning veterans in Lincoln were eager to get involved in the community. In 1953, they formed a local chapter of a national organization, the Exchange Club. They now serve as a proud sponsor of Lincoln Youth Football.

The Lincoln Police Department has been a sponsor of Lincoln Youth Football since the late 1950's. In fact, the majority of Lincoln Police's coaching staff are actual Lincoln Police Officers.
